Too often we are ruled by harsh judgement, unconscious beliefs, and deep fear. The ghosts of our past relationships, self-hate, and self-criticism haunt us and distort everything we believe to be true about who we are and what we deserve. My job is to support you to reconnect and attune to your needs, encourage you to speak from a true place of vulnerability and connection, and empower you to repair your sense of trust in yourself, and in your inherent value. You deserve to have safe space to go deeper and connect both with yourself and to the world around you.
Therapy helps people heal deep interpersonal wounds, build trust and love with other people and most importantly, with themselves. Our moment to moment experiences matter, and we will use them to help foster a sense of trust, respect, understanding, authenticity, and care. I use my training and the relationship we form to help guide, support, and direct us.
The way I work is genuine, attachment focused, and rooted in holistic and authentic care. I often find myself working with individuals who have experienced trauma, emotional neglect, and abusive relationship dynamics. Many of my clients are also navigating depression, anxiety, as well as their relationships to eating and/or substance use.
