About
I am a licensed psychologist who provides individual therapy for a wide array of adults in downtown Boston, MA. I am specialized in the delivery of evidence-based cognitive-behavioral therapy for a wide range of issues including, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders and depression. Therapeutic techniques that I frequently use include exposure and response prevention and cognitive-therapy, as well as mindfulness based strategies. I highly value the therapeutic relationship and believe that it can be instrumental in the treatment process.
I completed my graduate training in clinical psychology at Boston University and my pre-doctoral internship in the Psychiatry Department at Massachusetts General Hospital. My postdoctoral training was completed through the Obsessive-Compulsive and Related Disorders Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital.
I am trained in and provide specialized CBT for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Hoarding, Skin Picking and Trichotillomania. I am presently a Staff Psychologist in the Psychiatry Department at MGH where I provide individual cognitive-behavioral therapy, as well an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School.
