My counseling practice is about helping release people from burdens weighing them down so they can live freely, confidently, and enjoy their lives. Whatever forms a burden takes on (loss of self, trauma, relationship difficulty, emotional instability, spiritual abuse and much more), my hope is to help bridge a painful and self-rejecting narrative for one of acceptance and healing. My method is to help clients build tools and learn to practice boundaries, self-awareness, emotional stability, relational connection, self acceptance and more. I myself found great freedom in counseling, this experience led me to become a therapist.
My Specialty: 1. Developing "do-able" tools for clients and practicing along side them until they are confident. 2. Setting appropriate goals with clients to experience incremental victories versus feeling stuck in the process of healing. 3. Exploring dynamics and identifying feelings and needs in order to create opportunities for those core needs to be met.
Special factors unique to my practice are EMDR therapy; A passion for the Enneagram; Treating Narcissistic Abuse and High control group abuse. It is a privilege and a passion to work with those looking for relational support and personal freedom, albeit in the context of a loved one, family member, marriage, friends, a dating relationship and divorce.
