I am versatile in my clinical experience with clients of different ages and cultures. I have particular training in working with individuals struggling with trauma and the many symptoms related to trauma. I also have many years of experience working with those who struggle with addictions. I enjoy providing support groups for adults and teenagers. I have worked in schools, outpatient clinics, and private practice. I also have experience in suicide prevention work with teenagers and young adults.
I have the most experience in treating trauma (complex PTSD, Attachment Trauma, and symptoms related to PTSD). I also specialize in substance abuse treatment, childhood and adolescent issues, parenting, and suicide prevention. In treating people with addictions, I use either an abstinence based model, or harm reduction model of treatment.
I welcome your inquiry and I will set up a time to speak with you to see whether we are a good fit. The quickest way to reach me is through email. IF my practice is full I will do my best to give you names of other therapists in the area.

Moderation Management Support Group

For adults who are looking into their alcohol use, but do not want (or are not ready) to stop using alcohol. Many people want to talk about their drinking and how it affects their lives, who are ready to make some changes, but don't feel that 12 step programs or abstinence models are the right place for them. Will address how to make the best decisions for each individual, while providing support on a group level. This is a Moderation Management focused program. Group members are asked not to drink on the same day of the group.
