Many of the clients I work struggle to identify and express how they feel and what they need. They are deeply attuned to others' needs while quietly struggling with overwhelm, burnout, perfectionism and difficulty honoring their own boundaries. Denying your own needs can make it hard to stay connected to yourself and your relationships — you can only "go with the flow" so long before you're totally lost in the current. Therapy can help you understand these patterns, develop self-compassion, and strengthen your capacity for true connection.
I specialize in relational trauma and integrate EMDR, attachment theory, nervous system regulation and boundary development to support emotional balance and strengthened selfhood. My work draws on the insights of trauma expert Dr. Gabor Maté, particularly around how unmet emotional needs shape our patterns but also provide our own unique map for healing.
