Hello! My name is Jessica Oakes, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Utilizing a compassionate approach, my clients will gain insight into themselves and their problems to create positive changes for their lives. I firmly believe in building a strong relationship between myself and my clients to ensure complete authenticity, compassion and respect. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, relational problems, teenage issues, anger management, parenting and family difficulties. I am also employed by a local school district which gives me extensive knowledge of the education system.
My goal is to provide a safe, no-fault environment for individuals, couples and families. In meeting my clients where they are at, I am able to get to the root of the issue and help them find the peace they are seeking. I frequently use Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution Focused Therapy.
My goals are always centered around the needs of the client. I will ask what you hope to gain from this experience and how I can help you get there.
