My goal is to help children, adolescents and adults cultivate a healthy mind and a more enriching life. I am Jessica Murguia, LPC-Associate Supervised by Guillermo Castañeda, LPC-S . I currently work at Counseling of El Paso, where I provide support to adults, adolescents, and children. I earned Master of Education in Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas’ CACREP-accredited program.
I have trained in a range of therapeutic modalities, including Play Therapy, Activity Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Gestalt Therapy. I am particularly passionate about being present in the here-and-now, as this mindfulness fosters self-understanding and facilitates meaningful change from within.
