Feeling alone in your struggles can be so defeating. Clients often find when given a safe, trusting space--free from judgement--they can find relief and solutions to these struggles. Many of them need help in making sense of how their past experiences influence who they are today, while we work towards, and discover, the ways they want to change. The folks I see are frequently healing--from trauma, from grief, from relationships--and find that the emotions that accompany these experiences can be overwhelming and confusing. Therapy can help with this.
I primarily work with adult clients (18+) in my practice. I have training in mindfulness practices, have a background in substance abuse and recovery work, and am EMDR certified. I have taken several advanced level EMDR trainings, and stay active in ongoing consultation. I have been practicing as a psychotherapist for over 10 years.
