My approach to therapy is first and foremost person-centered. Each person on my caseload, whether it be a child, adolescent, teen, or adult, is given respect and are involved in the therapeutic process of achieving goals they set for themselves. I am particularly passionate about serving youth and young adults who are impacted by anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and low self-esteem.
Seeking a therapist is the first step to a rewarding journey that may have challenges along the way. Yes, you read correctly! Therapy is not a magic trick, it takes hard work, dedication, and an open mind to benefit from therapy. But in the end, you will never regret advocating for yourself and those that you love.
If my approach sounds fitting for you, I invite you to reach out and we can begin your journey together!

I usually work with clients who have experienced anxiety, trauma, and/or depression. I also have experience working directly with parents to help navigate challenging behaviors with children. A first session will be us getting to know each other, setting goals, and assessing needs. Afterwards, sessions will be more in depth to target goals and explore mental and behavioral concerns.

I typically use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a basis in practice. CBT explores the relationship between our thoughts, feelings, and actions. Being able to challenge specific thoughts may change feelings and in turn change our behavior. It takes a lot of practice but most clients have found it to be impactful with consistency.
