In life, there are many obsticles that we have to face. Sometimes we just need to find different coping strategies to help us change the things that aren't working in our life. My belief is that everyone has the innate capacity for personal growth. Fostering individuals to obtain a healthier understanding of themselves and their emotional world is part of my job. Counseling offers us the opportunity to identify the factors that contribute to difficulties and to deal effectively with the psychological, behavioral, interpersonal and situational causes of those difficulties.

Common issues for which individuals seek counseling include: Family Issues, Relationship issues, Developmental Issues (ie. Separation, Identity Concerns), Depression, Gender Concerns, Sexuality Concerns, Career Uncertainty, Physical, Emotional or Sexual Abuse, Physical Problems, Grief, Alcohol or Substance Abuse, Eating Disorders and Body Image Issues, Depression, Anxiety and Sleep Concerns.

Children of Change

Children can be hard to read. Although on the outside they seem extremely happy and content, on the inside they have many issues that are complex and confusing to them. They are ever changing, growing and learning. They too face many of the challenges we adults do but often times lack the capacity to process it. This will be a safe environment for children of different backgrounds to feel heard and to know they are not alone! This group is for any child who is dealing with a change in their life and needs a safe place to process it.
