Hi, I'm Jessica Lauro. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 4 years of clinical experience. I provide psychotherapy with mindfulness guidance to help clients treat, manage, and work through anxiety, depression, OCD, ADD/ADHD, panic disorder, grief/loss, marriage issues, family issues, reconciliations, divorce, self-esteem issues, and many more. I use a mix of Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Client-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical (DBT), and Experiential Therapy. I believe that respect and care are always thoughtfully maintained as a standard in my therapy practice.
I'm here to help you achieve what mental health and relational goals you most want for your happiness and betterment. We will work to gain practical skills, self-confidence, and personal growth through the challenges of the human experience. We will find the path you want to help them heal to support their happiness and security.
Our first session will be an intake of questions to get to know you, your history, and your wants/needs in therapy. We will start formulating some treatment goals to ponder and outline a loosely structured plan to get started toward effective therapeutic interventions.
