I am a certified EMDR provider, and I specialize in treating trauma, generalized anxiety, panic, obsessive and/or negative thinking, depression, decreased self esteem and other associated conditions. I enjoy working alongside clients experiencing a variety of life transitions, adults seeking to gain a deeper understanding of family dynamics and themselves or are transitioning into new adult roles or within their family, and those who are seeking goals of finding meaning and purpose, as well as clients with general stressors
I utilize EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral, CPT and Mindfulness. Clients have found a benefit to our work together in a deepening of understanding themselves and their relationships with others and the world, an expansion in their emotional tolerance and personal coping skills, as well as increased confidence in their own ability to navigate life on life's terms.
I consider the psychotherapeutic relationship to be one of sacred trust and active partnership. The therapeutic relationship is a professional relationship designed to assist and guide individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to make progress towards personal growth and overall wellbeing.
