My aspiration as a psychologist is to help you reach your goals by constructing an individualized therapeutic approach that considers your strengths and inherent abilities. I draw upon my training in diverse treatment types to help you achieve the progress you strive for. I believe in utilizing a two pronged approach: I guide you toward learning strategies to reduce distress and increase your coping skills, while at the same time identifying deeper factors that underlie your presenting challenges. I find that addressing problems on both of these levels minimizes the time it takes to feel relief and maximizes the lasting impact of the therapy.
Areas of specialty include the diagnosis/treatment of mood and anxiety disorders. I enjoy working with individuals to navigate challenges encountered during life transitions. I offer adult neurospychological assessments to evaluate the presence of memory disorders and to assess the cognitive sequelae of traumatic brain injury and other neurological diseases.
