I specialize in therapy for women who experienced trauma, particularly neglect and sexual abuse, at an early age. Using somatic (or body-based) techniques and an attachment framework, I will help you facilitate a deeper mind-body connection that can help you regulate your emotions.
My counseling approach uses the therapist-client relationship itself to foster a sense of security in your life so you can practice feeling safer and more connected. Incorporating empathy, awareness, and sometimes humor, I will help you develop the confidence in yourself needed to heal and move forward.
