I specialize in providing relationally focused therapy to multigenerational, and multicultural individuals and families experiencing struggles with relationships, emotional regulation, major life transitions, or a history of trauma. As a bilingual clinician with Ecuadorian and Colombian heritage, my goal is to work with you to identify a better understanding of yourself, and/or your family that is holistically informed by identity, culture, past experiences, as well as any other modalities that have informed your development. I understand the importance of feeling understood, engaged, and challenged within the therapy space.
I often pull from various theories that focus on the importance of how our surroundings impact our lives, one of those being Structural Therapy. I provide EMDR therapy services for processing recent or past trauma experiences. I also utilize Theraplay-informed practices for building parent-child relationships and support emotional regulation.
Therapy is a vulnerable space, therefore, I understand how important the search is to find a good fit.
