Welcome. I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for help is a powerful first step toward healing and change. I specialize in working with adults navigating depression, anxiety, maternal depression/postpartum, trauma, substance use, and relationship conflict. I also have extensive experience working with Veterans.
I graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Taylor University in Upland, Indiana. I received my Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wright State University in 2010. I became independently licensed in 2015, and obtained my Supervisory status in 2016.
Over the past 20 years, I have developed and fine tuned my clinical experience across multiple settings, including residential substance use treatment, outpatient therapy, dual diagnosis programs, as well as clinical research focused on first-time mothers with postpartum depression. For the last nine years.
My approach is compassionate, direct, and tailored to your unique story. I integrate evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Present-Centered Therapy, Brief Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strength at Home. I’m also trained in Moral Reconation Therapy.
