You are not alone in feeling like your emotions are controlling you. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will help you cope more effectively with intense emotions, addictive behaviors, and/ or relationship struggles and put you back in charge of your life. Modules include regulating emotions, relationships, tolerating distress, learning to switch from either/or to both/and thinking, and mindfulness. Participants will learn to control their emotions instead of their emotions controlling them, practice and learn to tolerate distress without acting on it, be able to validate self and others, and begin to develop a healthier relationship with themselves and others.
