Let’s face it, life likes to throw us curveballs… repeatedly. So how do we continue to thrive in the face of challenge? I have worked primarily with adults and young adults in both community and correctional settings. I have experience in helping people grow through everyday stressors, major life changes and transitions, serious mental illness, and coping with things we may not have any control over. I believe that every person is capable of reaching a state where they can learn to thrive in their own lives and my goal is that you’ll be able to do this without my support one day, because YOU are the expert of yourself.
I use a range of treatment modalities depending on the client and their goals. I primarily use an existential perspective based in mindfulness and being in the present. I have worked with a variety of clients ranging from everyday stressors to serious mental illness and suicidality. I attempt to provide a warm, supportive space for all individuals.
