Hello, my name is Jessica and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Denver, CO. After working for years in eating disorder treatment settings, I am the proud owner of a small private practice where I have the privilege of supporting adults facing challenges such as disordered eating, body image issues, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My specialty within this field is working with those who have experienced weight stigma, also known as fat phobia. I use the principles of Intuitive Eating and Health At Every Size to inform my approach and I work to dismantle weight stigma and diet culture in my practice.
I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Florida in 2012 and moved to Denver in 2014 to earn my Masters in Counseling with a concentration in multicultural counseling. My experience in the field began in 2011 with the Alachua County Crisis Center where I worked to provide crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to the community.
My goal is to help you find your own authentic path toward self-acceptance and compassion. This journey may lead you inward to discover parts of yourself yet unknown or into a future filled with meaning and satisfaction. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and that you know yourself best. I hope we can walk together on a path towards authenticity.
