Groups
Bucking the Fawn Response
Fawn Response, or people-pleasing, is a common trauma response that arises to protect one's self from further hurt. It mimics the camouflaging tactics of a baby dear (thus the name: fawn) by having someone who is vulnerable, feel reliant on staying hidden to stay safe. People-pleasers often struggle with saying "no", not prioritizing their own needs, and holding a deep sense of shame. This group aims to be a support for those wanting to find their voice and provide trauma-informed psychoeducation to shift away from living in a fawn response. This program will run 12 weeks.

Choosing Faith: Post Religious Trauma Support
Religious Trauma can be defined as forms of abuse (physical, emotional, psychological, and sexual) justified in the name of religion. This group aims to be a support for woman who have survived and are still choosing a relationship with the Lord. Spiritual abuse can make someone question their relationship with God and shake the foundation of one's identity. This group explores the process of reconnecting to the Christian faith and building trauma-based therapeutic skills to cope. This group will run for 12 weeks.
