Hello and thank you for taking the time to consider me. I specialize in counseling older children, teenagers, adults, couples, and families. With a background in marriage and family therapy, my counseling style tends to be relationship oriented and solutions-focused. I offer a blend of empathy and support while presenting real-world suggestions for growth and healing. I have found that while all clients want to feel heard and understood, this alone is not enough for therapy to be effective. Together, we can work towards finding realistic solutions to improve your life, relationships, and overall happiness.
While most therapists specialize in general mental health counseling, I am licensed as both a mental health counselor and a marriage and family therapist. This means that I have pursued additional education and training to be able to offer counseling to couples and families, and am well versed in the type of relational issues these populations face.
