Hi, I'm Jess. I believe therapy is a collaborative process grounded in a trusting, therapeutic relationship. In my role, I provide the compassionate space for you to begin self-reflection and explore ways to initiate changes in your life. The therapy relationship becomes the safe, working model to practice communication. Part of my style is helping you embrace uncertainty in the transformation process, clarify your values, and explore your relationship with your thoughts, emotions, and body.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist (CCTS), and a member of WPATH. I am a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certified in the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method. I have training on working with transgender, nonbinary, and gender expansive adults and youth. I practice as a LGBTQIA+, Poly, Kink affirmative clinician.

I work with adolescents and adults, and I have experience coordinating care with other supportive services and settings. I believe people are incredibly resilient, and I strive to practice in holistic ways that incorporate the body, culture, intersectional identities, and community into the healing process. I am an AZBBHE-approved clinical supervisor.

Learn how to find balance in your nervous system and build connections in a safe and supportive, group-setting (either at Kiwanis Park, online, or nearby yoga studio) in Tempe. This group combines psycho-education, movement, and reflection with gentle, trauma-conscious yoga practices and self-regulation tools. Topics include: coping skills, self-regulation, trauma-conscious yoga, and self-compassion. $200 for 5 weeks. Accepting names for waitlist to launch group in spring. Spots available!

Adolescent & Guardian CoRegulation Class

Hosted by

Adolescents / Pre-teens from ages 12 to 18 can take a one-time, one-hour gentle yoga and coping skills workshop with their guardian(s) to learn regulation as a family. The class is at a yoga facility in Tempe by Kiwanis park and would have max 10 people. Skills include art activities, movement, breathing, and muscle relaxation. Offered on Saturdays rolling as sign-ups occur. Guardianship documentation is needed for registering minors. No yoga experience needed!
