My name is Jessica Sando, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. My approach toward working with my clients stems from the belief that every individual possesses the ability the make changes to their lives if they choose if given a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment to do so. I focus my practice in the areas of individual and couples therapy, with a focus on depression, anxiety, and stress-related disorders.
I approach my work with clients in a collaborative, empathetic, and challenging manner. I create a space where individuals are free to explore and process the hardest parts of themselves. I take a client-centered approach at the core of all I do while also approaching things from a cognitive and systemic perspective as well.
During our first sessions, clients can expect to share information about themselves to help complete a biopsychosocial assessment. I will gather information about the client and build rapport by getting to know the client and their needs.
