My clients and I develop strong working relationships together. And they often express gratitude for the space I make for them to define their authentic self and process the more painful circumstances of their lives. They leave our sessions feeling seen and supported. I do this by meeting my clients where they are, immersing myself in life from their perspective, and providing a caring, gentle presence. My clients are typically working through relationships issues, managing anxiety, depression, and stress, wrestling with identity questions, or navigating a life transition.
My counseling approach is client-centered and grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I often incorporate mindfulness and parts work into my approach as well. I work with adults and I have specialized experience working with late adolescence/early adulthood, ages 18 to 22.
