Life can be difficult, stressful and scary-events happen that we cannot control or predict or perhaps you have an overall unhappiness with the current state of your life and ready for change and growth. Anxiety seems to pop up at random, yet anxiety always has a cause and I will teach you how to control the anxiety. Depression can pull you down and keep you from living your fullest life, we will look inward at patterns and blocks to living your happiest life. Unresolved trauma continues to show up in the present until it is fully processed and released. Whether you relate to one or all of the above we will work from where you are.
I blend motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and EMDR incorporating mindfulness skills. For over 20 years I have worked with people through transitions, divorce, work and school stress, relationship issues and grief. I believe the fit between the client and therapist is the most important for change.
