I believe all people have the ability to overcome even the most dis-empowering obstacles, and sometimes we need help finding the way to do this. I work across a range of mental health and addiction concerns, to help you, to help yourself. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and am honored by the opportunity to help you tap into your expertise. My practice uses principles of Mindfulness, compassion, personal empowerment, and hope. Together, we will discover your strengths, and learn how to use your own power to conquer challenges, to grow, and heal.
No matter where you are or how you're struggling, I will be a witness to your journey. I am trauma-informed and anti-oppressive in my practice, which means I prioritize establishing safety and acceptance in our work together, regardless of your ethnic, gender, educational, or religious status.
Neuroscience tells us the body and mind are intimately connected. Working together, we'll explore this connection, and use this knowledge to put emotional power and control back in your hands. When requested, I can weave in expressive interventions to manage symptoms, including Yoga, meditation, dance, and other art forms.
