About
Due to the stress of the everyday world, emotions can become intense, overwhelming, and at times debilitating. Therapy provides individuals with the support necessary to become your best self. I utilize a genuine, empathic and open-minded approach to treatment. I strive to help clients achieve improved connections, increased insight and a deeper understanding of oneself and others. I provide couples with the skills needed to improve communication, build trust and enhance intimacy.
My treatment specialties include: anxiety, depression, postpartum depression, interpersonal trauma, PTSD, early childhood attachment issues, relationship challenges, women's issues, grief/loss and low self-esteem. With couples, I utilize the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy in conjunction with other research-based methodologies.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Hofstra University, and a Masters and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology.
