About
You don't want to be in therapy forever, but something has to change. Maybe you want to get back to feeling like your old self, or you want people to see who you really are? Maybe you need to decide whether to stay or leave a relationship? When everything you're doing has led to the same results, when you feel like you’re communicating how you feel and asking for what you need but the situation does not seem to get better, it can feel frustrating and overwhelming. I can help you find ways to take control so that you can feel better, and improve your relationships with other people.
I believe therapy is a supportive and non-judgmental environment to express feelings, but also a place to learn skills that will create positive change in your life. My style is compassionate, affirming, and engaged therapy where we will work together to help you achieve your goals by identifying your strengths and learning new skills.
I have 20+ years of experience as a therapist specializing in depression, relationship issues, life transitions, and gender identity issues. I have experience with WPATH letters and guidelines. The first step is finding someone you feel comfortable talking to. Call for a free 10-15 minute consultation to see if I'd be the right therapist for you!
