My ideal client is an individual who comes from a complex family system and has experienced trauma in some way, including attachment trauma. They likely have struggled with some sort of addiction, identity issues, grief, and major relationship struggles. I love working with personality disorders and helping people become connected with their genuine identity. I promote self-love, acceptance, and change.
My therapy style is based in dialectical behavioral therapy, with eco, art, and nature based therapies incorporated. I address major trauma with brainspotting but teach solid coping skills to deal with things that may come up during treatment first. DBT consists of mindfulness, distress tolerance and emotion regulation skills, and interpersonal skills.
I would be honored if you would allow me to walk beside you through whatever you may be facing. It isn't an easy road or a short road, AND it isn't the end of the road. There is hope and I can help you build a life worth living.
