About
Feel like you haven’t been yourself lately? Feel like you’re existing rather than living? I am passionate about helping my clients identify areas of their lives that are weighing them down and supporting them by releasing baggage to live a fuller, more present life. Our stressors, sadness, hopelessness, or moments of discontent can have several roots embedded deep within our history, experiences, and traumas.
My goal with every client is to understand your unique, individual experiences and how reframing may help alter your perception of the world, your circumstances, and your hopefulness for the future. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and CBT; however, mindfulness is embedded every aspect of my therapeutic process.
Therapy may seem intimidating and a scary process-- particularly within communities of color where therapy has and still can be highly stigmatized. I am motivated to support you, challenge you, and guide you through breaking those barriers of stigma, facing your struggles, and walking with you on a path to higher self. Remember, you are never alone.
