Engaging in counseling can be a scary first step. You may wonder if your symptoms are just in your head and if you really just need to "tough it out". I applaud the courage it takes to look for a counselor and entrust someone with the scariest or most difficult parts of your life. I am honored to be that person for my clients.
If you are struggling, I would love to be a support. I don't believe any person deserves to live with overhanging depression, anxiety, ptsd or whatever it may be. Things can get better. I work with anxiety, depression, postpartum/motherhood issues, trauma, PTSD, ADHD, existential crisis and a number of other difficulties.
Each of us cope with different burdens in life. My goal is to help lessen the weight of these and help you become prepared for future difficulties. I am trained in EMDR, and take a trauma focused lens, as well as a neurodiverse affirming lens. I'd love to chat with you to discuss if we are a good fit.
