I am a clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with adults and older teens. My professional goal is to develop the highest quality relationship with each client, while using a variety of specific techniques that are catered to each individual's needs. I offer a safe and supportive therapeutic environment based on trust and mutual respect. I use a solution focused approach based on each client's strengths in order to achieve his or her desired goals.
I specialize in treating individuals with anxiety and depression, eating disorders, and women's issues. I also work with clients who have chronic pain and/or illnesses who are trying to maintain health. I utilize several treatment approaches in my practice, including cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and DBT.
With my eating disordered clients and clients struggling with illness, I work collaboratively with a treatment team, helping individuals manage their physical as well as their emotional needs. I am interested in helping people live fulfilling lives and being more content with themselves and their relationships with others.
