One of my favorite parts of being a therapist is being given the chance to forge connections with my patients. Within a strong therapeutic relationship, we work together to create and achieve treatment goals. I am passionate about helping patients work towards greater self awareness, self acceptance, and insight, while also using skills that result in symptom reduction, increased distress tolerance, and more meaningful social interactions. I conceptualize cases through psychodynamic and family systems lenses, and employ cognitive-behavioral and insight-oriented techniques as appropriate.
I have extensive experience in individual, group, and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. My focus tends to be with adolescents and young adults (middle school-aged through college, and beyond). I have expertise in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Parent-Child conflict, trauma, Borderline Personality traits, and more.
