There’s a lot that goes on in our world that can be challenging for our kids and teens, and sometimes things like anxiety and depression can get in the way and make things even more complicated for them to navigate! We all want our kids to have the coping skills they need to get through those difficult moments and come out stronger on the other side. My focus is on helping children and teens unlock the tools and skills to navigate the world and understand that all feelings can be mentionable and manageable.
With over 15 years of work with children, teens and young adults I take a person-centered approach, because I want to get to know YOU or YOUR child and see how I can best help. I bring in a lot of non-directive play therapy with children, as play is the work of the child, and I also bring in other approaches such as sand tray, art and CBT.
