I work from a social work strengths based perspective and believe in meeting each client where they are and collaborating to address the issue(s) at hand. Whether you’re facing a new challenge in life or feeling “stuck,” I’ll listen actively and we can work together to support you through this time, so that you’re able to gain insight and clarity to allow you to move forward.
I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults but see clients and couples of all ages. Addressing interpersonal, couples issues and family dynamics are amongst my specialties. My background is mostly psychodynamic but I also work from a trauma informed perspective. I incorporate Mindfulness and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as needed. Whether school, work or home/social life or a combination have you feeling stressed, anxious and/or depressed, please email or call me.
I believe that each individual’s therapy has to be tailored to his/her/their needs. We will work together to ensure that you are getting what you need, even if it is hard work. I am especially interested in working with the LGBTQIA+ population and others who may be facing issues of acceptance/integration. My office is in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia, across the street from a bus stop and a pleasant walk from Center City/Suburban Station.
