I work with both individuals and couples, empowering people to cultivate their relationships into the source of strength, hope, and life that is needed. In individual work I focus on cultivating resilience, emotional girth, and strategic approaches to difficult circumstances and relationships. In couples work my goal is to preserve and expand relationships, helping couples to grow together through life challenges in a way that is mutually beneficial and supportive. As a Christian, I also integrate matters of faith with these goals appropriate to the unique needs of each client.
I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate relational difficulties. I help clients to develop resilience and a capacity for navigating challenging circumstances without becoming so overwhelmed that they lose themselves in the process. My work empowers clients (both individuals and couples) towards strength, hope, and life.
I am licensed both as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) and Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in North Carolina. I am also certified as a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator and have additional training in Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy (EFT).
