Therapy only works when there is strong trust, and I work to foster a space that honors clients' experiences, pacing, and personal needs. I strive to help clients make forward movement through deep work because therapy is more than just a place to vent. My style is warm, candid, and when appropriate, fairly humorous; therapy is work, but can also be playful! I work hard to create a space where clients feel free of judgment, while still gently challenging people to do (or feel or think about) ) things that may be uncomfortable.
I specialize in reproductive mental health, neurodivergent teens and adults, parenting concerns, and queer family systems. I work a lot with couples navigating these areas as well. Using a relational lens is critical to my work, whether it's with individuals or families. We are deeply impacted by the relationships in our past and present lives.
Sessions with me aim to make therapy feel a little less intimidating; therapy can be clinical and still totally approachable. I get what it means to be messy AND resilient. and invite my clients to bring their whole selves to session (messy, weird, and extra are always welcome).
