Therapy is a deeply personal journey with overarching goals that typically include improving mental health, healing trauma, developing healthier communication in relationships, or learning useful coping strategies to manage difficult times. Motivators often focus on addressing barriers to happiness, such as feeling stuck, overwhelmed, stressed out, emotionally scattered, or out of control, all of which can result in self doubt, anxiety, depression, & increased isolation. I often meet clients during the hardest times they've known, yet the resiliency & motivation to grow despite life's curveballs amazes me every time.
I have extensive experience helping clients identify goals, process trauma & PTSD, manage symptoms of gender dysphoria (navigating barriers in support of the LGBTQIA+ community), learn coping & communication skills to strengthen relationships, improve support, & assist survivors of abuse rebuild confidence to create deeper meaning & clarity to move forward.
