Looking for a therapist that can challenge you while holding space for compassion and complexity? We may be a good fit! I come to counseling with a background in the arts, nonprofit, and service sectors; experience that shapes how I authentically show up with clients. I am deeply committed to working with individuals and relationships within the LGBTQ+ community, trans and nonbinary folks, creatives, people in nontraditional relationship structures, and those exploring kink and pleasure in many forms. I believe that everyone seeks pleasure and creativity, and tapping into these parts is a way to find meaning in our lives.
I support clients navigating recent or historical trauma, identity exploration, life transitions, relational challenges, and mood-related concerns. I find working with complex trauma to be extremely rewarding, and compassionately challenge my clients to move through avoidance and into engagement with difficult emotions and experiences at their own pace.
