I believe when it comes to finding the right therapist, it is crucial to find someone who truly makes you feel seen, understood, and like things really can get better. I concentrate on the relationship between client and therapist; while fostering a climate of collaboration, support and greater self-awareness to assist and guide you through meeting your desired goals. I infuse insight, a sense of humor and interventions tailored to each unique individual's needs. Though formally trained psychodynamically, I am relationally oriented and tend to integrate elements of modalities such as CBT, Family Systems and Narrative.

I previously trained at the Antioch University Counseling Center and Colors LGBTQ Youth Counseling Center for 2 years. I specialize in working with adults (18-35); especially as it relates to quarter life issues, such as feeling stuck and isolated. I am also extremely passionate about working with LGBTQ+ youth.

Additional areas of emphasis include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationships, life transitions, sex/sexuality, stress, grief, self-esteem and finding purpose. I am currently accepting new clients and receive clinical supervision from Eddie Hunt, MA, MFT. Available nights and weekends. Contact me by email at jesshaletherapy@gmail.com or by phone.
