About
Welcome. Now that you have taken the important step of finding the right therapist for you, I hope your search is a successful one. I'm a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience. I strive to offer an empathic and eclectic approach in my work, yet one where we collaborate to uniquely address the issues and challenges that YOU identify. I have trained for 22 years at NY Presbyterian Hospital, am seasoned in CBT, DBT, as well as supportive and psychodynamic treatment. Specialty areas of my practice include Anxiety Disorders (OCD/Panic), ADD/ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, & Relationship Issues/Divorce.
I am comfortable working with all age groups, and often present to various local schools and community organizations. I enjoy working with those from a creative background, and will always strive to help you reach your goals. Have published and presented papers on "Reframing the Therapeutic Encounter for Men," focused on effectively addressing men's issues.
I offer free phone consultations and flexibility in working to find the best approach for helping you. I often go above and beyond regarding payment options, and in managing any insurance issues you may have. You deserve to have a caring, compassionate therapist, dedicated to providing mutual respect, trust, and empathy. I hope to hear from you...
