My first priority is to strive to respond in a healing manner to the unique human being in front of me, which means that I am flexible as to how I work with each individual and avoid following any set of rigid guidelines. I have a special interest and place in my heart for working with individuals struggling with PTSD and other anxiety disorders, as well as depression. Therapy approaches which have influenced me include Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy..
I focus on helping you increase awareness of how limiting ideas and thoughts about yourself, others and the world have dulled your zest for life as well as the quality of your relationships. I can aid you in exploring how these limiting thoughts and ideas developed via key shaping experiences, including those of childhood.
My schedule includes weekday evenings. I provide a free initial consultation. I am covered by several insurance companies (see section on finances) and qualify for a reduced rate as an out of network provider for some other companies.
