About
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a private practice located off the 101 and Shea Blvd. I belong to the American Counseling Association (ACA), American Christian Counseling Association (AACC) and a member of the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). I served on the Board of the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (2013-2019), and as Chairman from (2014-2016, 2017-2018). I was also on the Behavioral Health Rules Subcommittee, Personnel Subcommittee and Counseling Credentialing Committees. I currently volunteer at Scottsdale Bible Church and am an Adjunct Professor at Phoenix Seminary teaching Ethics.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults struggling with symptoms of anger, anxiety, depression or sadness; including relationship, connection and communication issues, as well as marriage and relationship counseling.
I have advanced training in Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) through the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City.
