About
Having trouble sleeping or being irritable as a result of anxiety or depression or a traumatic event such as war or accident resulting in nightmare or flashbacks which could be PTSD ? As a Licensed Psychologist I can help you using EMDR combined with neurofeedback and CES stimulation, FDA approved for depression, to deal with the above problems . I have had 20 years experience dealing with these problems. My approach is to train you in EMDR and relaxation using neurofeedback. I am also certified by VA to do C & P exams for PTSD and Board certified by APA to treat PTSD..www;ptsdhelphelp.com .
PTSD is a serious problem because of sleep loss and anxiety. Main cause of anxiety is trauma memory. Using EMDR where the client reprocess trauma memory by bringing up the trauma notices the tensions in his body and his emotions while following the therapist moving finger. The trauma memory is then released. after several sessions .. .
My approach teaches relaxation using Neurofeedback which trains the client to keep out negative thoughts by keeping a picture moving. Depression is improved with CES stimulation releasing Serotonin (FDA approved). Image rehearsal training (IRT) is changing the nightmare to positive imagery by using the client's own imagery and is practiced after nightmares.
