Jeri B Innis, LPC, PT, SEP, Licensed Professional Counselor in Boulder
Are you someone who has experienced a traumatic event and are suffering with the after-effects including anxiety, hypervigilence, chronic pain, unexplained fatigue, driving anxieties related to a car crash, out of proportion fears and a gripping overwhelm related to dealing with life? Maybe you sense that your emotions affect your physical condition and vise versa. Despite the pain, confusion and overwhelm you might be experiencing right now, I believe that the body has an innate ability to heal. Together we can create a pathway of healing that will allow you to find the peace you deserve.
My specialty is trauma, and how it can manifest itself in the body: chronic conditions/pain, anxiety, depression, fatigue, overwhelm, and a loss of self. Trauma is primarily experienced in the body and using body-centered approaches, in conjunction with traditional talk-therapy, works best in the treatment of trauma.
My unique approach to trauma resolution is distilled from my expertise as a physical therapist, a somatic psychotherapist, and a trauma expert. I have over 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, alone or with their parents, as well as individual adults.
