My goal is to support and help facilitate healing for my clients. With over 20 years of experience, I've been a Psych Tech, CTSS/ARHMS worker, Family Services Specialist, Parent Educator, and Day Treatment/Residential/Inpatient Individual/Group Therapist! I'm passionate about helping others manage mental health symptoms and reach their life goals.
I aim to support my client's needs by providing emotional validation, authentic yet gentle feedback, and reflection of feelings, themes, and other noteworthy areas that come up in session. During our process time, we tap into current feelings and energy to check in on current levels of functioning across all domains of life and its activities.
I tend to suit my communication style to fit the needs of my clients and where they are at that day during the session. As an intuitive empath, this part of my job comes naturally to me, so I am able to discern the tone needed for the session based on the subject matter and what is brought to the therapy room that day.
