Before becoming a psychotherapist I practiced law, holding positions in the federal government, a Fortune 500 company and an Am Law 100 firm. My style is transparent and direct. I find humor can play an important role in the therapeutic process. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is a key ingredient for meaningful change.
My primary therapeutic framework is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps you be more present, let go of unhelpful thoughts, and take steps toward a more meaningful life. I also integrate CBT and DBT skills to support coping, insight, and lasting change.

Groups
Co-ed Process Group
This is a group for those who repeat familiar patterns but are unsure why and are uncertain how to change them. A process group is a "here and now" experience. If you've read the book, "Group", then you know what I mean. The group will be challenging and rewarding. Every member is a mirror for each other. The job of the facilitators is to maintain safety and trust. We combine CBT with psychodrama for a genuine growth experience.
