It can be difficult to talk to someone we barely know about our thoughts and feelings, especially if they are upsetting to us. My goal as a therapist is to create an affirming environment where clients can find hope, helping them move toward meaningful change. I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and a psychodynamic approach in my practice.
Since 2000, I've worked with teens and adults (13-65+) experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, grief, codependency, major life transitions, leadership, and spirituality issues. I especially enjoy helping clients in 12-step recovery. My focus as a therapist is to serve clients by offering a safe and judgment-free space, with a trusted connection.
The biggest predictor of success in therapy is the fit between the client and the therapist.
