About
Is your child just not themselves due to depression or anxiety? Are you struggling with your child’s behaviors and don’t know what to do next?
Congratulations on taking the first step to getting support for your child and family! Some problems are too big for parents to handle alone, and it's okay to ask for help. Together we can help your child overcome obstacles that may be preventing them from living life to their fullest potential.I have been working with children and families for over 10 years and specialize in working with children 4-18 who may be struggling with mood, anxiety, and adjusting to changes in their life.
Therapy with kids looks different than adults because their brains aren’t fully developed. I often utilize the play, which a way kids can express things they don’t have the words for, to help them work through challenges. With older kids and teens I utilize a mix of theories and creative interventions to meet their specific needs.
You are the expert on your child; let's work together to see how we can help your child use their strengths to better express themselves, build tools to manage their emotions, and get back on track to a happy and healthy life.
