Hello! My name is Jenny Wildrick. I am the owner of JMW Counseling LLC. Jmw counseling is a small practice with two offices in Dunmore, Pa, and Kingston, Pa. We have five therapists including myself who are are accepting clients. I graduated from Keystone College in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, and completed my Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling in 2017 from the University of Scranton. I obtained my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from Capella University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner.
Our practice specializes in Substance Abuse, Mental Health, Career Counseling, Eating Disorders, Disability, and Advocacy. I have over 8 years of experience in the field. My prior experience includes working as a manager in a mental health group home, a case manager for children and adolescents, and working as a counselor for co-occurring populations.
We enjoy working with clients to build a therapeutic relationship that allows them to understand and process their struggles and concerns, as well as set goals, and develop healthy coping skills. We believe counseling works best by providing a comfortable space where clients can feel safe to explore and improve themselves freely and without judgement.
